List students without session classes
Returns students in admissions who don’t have session class registrations. Two modes of operation:
- Without
sessionparam: Returns all admitted students who have never been registered to any session - With
sessionparam: Returns admitted students not registered to that specific session Additional filtering withsession_setupparameter: - When provided, excludes students marked as transferred, graduated, or dropped out in that promotion setup
- Students marked as pending, promote, or repeat are still included (they are available for registration)
- Useful for finding students who are truly available for a new session after promotion decisions have been made This endpoint is useful for:
- Finding students who need to be registered/promoted to a new session
- Identifying students who were admitted but never enrolled in classes
- Checking which students are available for registration to a specific session
- Filtering out students who have left the school (transferred/graduated/dropped) based on promotion decisions Supports all standard filtering (admission_year, form, status, gender, etc.), searching (name, admission number), and ordering options from the StudentAdmission model.
Authorizations
Bearer authentication header of the form Bearer <token>, where <token> is your auth token.
Query Parameters
Filter by admission year (e.g., "2023")
Filter by form/grade (e.g., "Form 1")
Filter by gender (M/F)
Order by field (e.g., "admission_year", "-last_name")
Search by first name, last name, admission number, or previous school
Session UUID to check against. If provided, returns students not registered to this specific session. If omitted, returns students never registered to any session.
Session Setup UUID to filter out students marked as transferred, graduated, or dropped out in this promotion setup. Students with pending, promote, or repeat actions will still be included as they are available for registration.
